On October 9, 2018, the 2018 China Japan South Korea East Asia economic academic research conference and student exchange conference jointly held by theSchool of Economicsof Jilin University, Osaka City University of Japan and QUANNANNational University of Korea was successfully held in Jilin University. More than 60 teachers and students from universities of China, Japan and South Korea attended the meeting. Professor Li Xiao, Dean of theSchool of Economicsof Jilin University, Professor Shi Benye, Vice Dean, Professor Wang Qian, Vice Dean, Wang Da, Sun Li,Sun Zhe and other representatives of our teachers and students attended the meeting.
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Professor Li Xiao, Dean ofSchool of Economicsof Jilin University, said that Jilin University has a long history of international academic exchanges with Osaka Municipal University of Japan and QUANNAN National University of Korea, and has always maintained a good and in-depth academic exchange relationship. Our college hopes to continue to expand the scale and open up new forms on the basis of existing student exchanges. Premier Li Xiao said that the future friendly relations between China, Japan and South Korea will be undertaken by the younger generation. He hoped that the younger generation would have more exchanges and cooperation to contribute to the long-term friendly relations between China, Japan and South Korea. Professor Choi, Jiho of QUANNAN National University of South Korea said that in the future, he will actively participate in the academic exchange projects between QUANNAN National University of South Korea andSchool of Economicsof Jilin University, so as to achieve common development and progress. Professor Atsushi Matsumoto of Osaka Municipal University of Japan said that the Department of economics of Osaka Municipal University of Japan is strengthening its foreign cooperation and exchange. The long-term good exchange results with theSchool of Economicsof Jilin University will provide a solid foundation for future exchanges between the two sides. He is full of expectations for the future international academic exchanges with theSchool of Economicsof Jilin University.
The conference was conducted in English throughout. In the session of theme report, sun Zhe, lecturer of our college, Sun Li, associate professor, Hideki Nakamura, Akihiro Kubo of Osaka Municipal University of Japan, and shin, woojin, Yoon, hyunshik of QUANNAN National University of Korea made theme reports. Lecturer sun zhe made a report entitled'Chinese reverse M & A: the Wu Wei parameter of post-M & A integration process', which discussed the issues related to corporate culture and mergers and acquisitions; Associate Professor Sun Li made a report entitled'the end of'East Asian miracle'and the innovation driven of the industrial chain - from the view of The report of'GVC'discusses how the innovation of industrial chain drives the economic development of East Asia; Professor Hideki Nakamura of Osaka City University of Japan makes a report entitled'economic growth with new task creation and automation', discusses the relationship between different types of FDI and Japan's economic cycle, and introduces the factors influencing the change of FDI; Akihiro Kubo Prof. shin, woojin and Prof. Yoon, hyunshik of QUANNAN National University of Korea gave a report entitled'pedestrian comforts and shopping areas of convention stores in hilly residential neighborhoods: a case study in Gwangju, Korea'to illustrate the impact of terrain factors on the number of convenience stores. The teachers and students at the meeting showed strong interest in the theme report and had a warm interaction in the question session.
In the student exchange meeting, the professors first give a topic report to inspire the students, and then focus on the discussion and communication between the students. The students from the three schools expressed their opinions and had in-depth discussions. They had in-depth thoughts and discussions on the theme of each student, which greatly enhanced mutual understanding and exchange. After the presentation of the report, the participating professors commented on the students' reports respectively. At the same time, the students from three countries had in-depth discussions and exchanges. They exchanged and discussed their current academic level, problems encountered and the theme of each other's reports.
At the closing ceremony, Professor Shi Benye, deputy dean of theSchool of Economicsof Jilin University, Professor Atsushi Matsumoto of Osaka Municipal University of Japan, and Choi of QUANNAN National University of Korea, Professor Jiho gave a wonderful speech on today's academic report and the future cooperation between the universities. The three professors spoke highly of the academic forum, and hoped to continue to strengthen substantive academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation, especially in the cultivation of undergraduate, master and doctoral students, to carry out a series of new cooperation with theSchool of Economicsof Jilin University .
